History: Inhabited summit of the Hill with
1822 m of altitude, where you’ll find snow during winter
months. In 1996 the lowest temperature registered in Brazil
was, 17, 8ºC below zero with 40ºC below zero thermal
sensation. Here is installed CINDACTA II, belonging to the
Aeronautics Ministry, where the aerial traffic control for
RS and SC states takes place.
Tips: It is quite common to have low temperatures
in the summer as well, so take warm clothing. Best period
for visitation is from 9:00a.m. to 04:00 p.m.
